Coates 1- and 2-component pad printing inks
| TP 247-NT* | : |
For pre-treated polyethylene and polypropylene, polymethylmethacrylate, rigid and plasticized PVC.
TP 247-NT are quick drying, semi-gloss pad printing inks which show good opacity. With the exception of whites and inks with a high content of white, which have a tendency to chalking, TP 247 inks show limited weather resistance. They can either be processed as 1- or as 2-component ink. As 2-component ink TP 247 inks will show better resistance against various solvents and weather influences. |
| TP 253-NT* | : |
For printing onto textiles, rubber, leather, imitation leather and polyurethane.
TP 253-NT inks are quick drying semi gloss pad printing inks. They are elastic and show considerable forming resistance. TP 253-NT inks show medium opacity. |
| TP 273/T-NT* | : |
For rubber, leather, imitation leather, polyamide and polyurethane, elastomers (TPE, Santoprene), soft-touch coatings.
TP 273/T-NT inks are quick drying semi-gloss inks. The ink film is elastic and largely follows the contours of the substrate. Compared to ink type TP 273, printability of pad printing inks TP 273/T has been improved considerably with regard to cobwebs (splashing). Moreover, on several substrates a better adhesion is now possible. Thus TP 273/T can be printed on a broader substrate range. TP 273/T-NT inks show medium opacity. |
| TP 300-R-NT | : |
For duroplastics, wood, coated surfaces, various metals, paper, polyamide, polyacetal (post-flaming), pre-treated polyethylene and polypropylene, polycarbonate, polyester, PMMA, polystyrene, polyurethane, rigid PVC, as well as compact discs.
Ink type TP 300-R-NT is quick drying and glossy. Opacity and printability are very good. |
| TP 305-NT* | : |
For coated surfaces, pre-treated polyolefines (polyethylene, polypropylene), wood, cardboard, polyamide, compact disks, polystyrene and its copolymers (ABS, SAN etc.), rigid PVC.
Pad printing inks TP 305-NT show quick drying, excellent processing properties, good gloss and opacity. |
| TP 313-NT* | : |
For all kinds of thermoplastics, especially for ABS, polystyrene and its copolymers, rigid PVC, PMMA and polycarbonate. For sufficient adhesion on polyester, polyamide and other duroplastics pretreatment (corona or flame treatment) may be required.
TP 313 inks are very quick drying and weather resistant. They show good processing properties, high gloss and good resistance against benzines and alcohol especially when the ink is processed with hardener TP 219. Furthermore, TP 313 inks have an excellent abrasion resistance. |
